LSU Gymnastics' Olivia Dunne Celebrates SEC Title: CHAMPS BABYYY

A national championship is now a step closer for the gymnast and her team.  

Olivia Dunne is rejoicing in the "purple reign" of LSU!  

On Saturday, the Tigers and the NIL standout and accomplished gymnast, 21, secured the SEC championship for the seventh time in the school's history.  

Dunne shared the victory on Instagram with a jubilant carousel of photos.  

"100% Purple Reign Chance" Alongside the photos, which showed the native of New Jersey clutching and kissing the championship trophy in front.

Of her colleagues under a shower of confetti, Dunne wrote.  

Dunne posted further videos from her great weekend at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, including footage of her routines and a dance party in the Tigers' locker room, to her over 8 million-follower TikTok account.  

Over the weekend in New Orleans, Haleigh Bryant won the all-around competition with a score of 39.800, while freshman Konnor McClain of LSU secured a perfect 10 on the balancing beam.
