Ja Morant Sends Message as Suspension Return Grows Nearer

With the Memphis Grizzlies having played 15 games so far this season, only 10 more games remain until Ja Morant returns from his suspension.

Morant has been unable to play this season after receiving a 25-game suspension from the NBA for his second gun video incident on Instagram live.

While Morant has been out all season, the Grizzlies star has been watching his teammates play and is looking forward to his comeback.

Morant has been more active on social media as his return date approaches, counting down the games until he can play again. Morant said the following on Saturday in a message sent on X (previously known as Twitter):

“Be grateful even in the face of adversity, setbacks, and bad people.” Dealing with such challenges is an important element of learning the Art of Peace.”

Morant is grateful for adversity and losses because he understands how they can contribute to overall progress.

Both Morant and the Grizzlies are hoping that his comeback will help turn Memphis’ season around after a terrible start.

There is still much work to be done, but Morant is the type of player who can energize a club, especially after such an extended absence.
