Eva Mendes Invites Ryan Gosling to ‘Come Home’ to ‘Put the Kids to Bed’ After Ken Oscars Performance

Ken has domestic duties despite being Ken. After Ryan Gosling's electric “I'm Just Ken” performance at the 2024 Oscars on Sunday,

his longtime partner Eva Mendes posted an Instagram photo of herself in a pink jacket and black cowboy hat with the message, “You took Ken all the way to the Oscar’s, RG. We must put the youngsters to bed when we return.

Gosling, 43, and Mendes, 50, have daughters Esmeralda, 9, and Amada, 7. The actor was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for playing Ken.

Robert Downey Jr. won Best Picture for Oppenheimer. Barbie received one Oscar for Best Original Song after eight nominations.

Earlier Sunday, Mendes posted a video on Instagram from outside Gosling's dressing room to his Oscar-nominated song “I'm Just Ken.” “Always by my man,” an actress captioned the reel.

At Sunday's 96th Academy Awards, Gosling, Mark Ronson, Simu Liu, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Scott Evans, and Ncuti Gatwa performed the viral Barbie song with maximum Kenergy in Sparkly pink suits and sunglasses.

Gosling invited Barbie director Greta Gerwig, America Ferrera, and Margot Robbie to perform from the front row. Wolfgang Van Halen and Slash helped Gosling finish the passionate performance.

Gosling's mom hugged him before he performed. After wrapping, he was led out and Gerwig and Robbie, 33, slumped as the director made a “mind-blown” sign with both hands. Gosling waved and grinned at the Dolby Theatre bar.
