Caitlin Clark offered $5 million to participate in the BIG3 league.

Iowa starlet Caitlin Clark has received a $5 million offer to join the BIG3 3-on-3 basketball competition.

TMZ Sports first reported on the deal, which was later verified by rapper/actor Ice Cube, a Big3 founder.

"We intended the offer to remain private while Caitlin Clark competes for the championship," Ice Cube wrote on X on Wednesday

But I won't deny what's already been reported: BIG3 made a record offer to Caitlin Clark. Why shouldn't we?

Caitlin is a generational athlete with the potential to reach great success in the BIG3.

The BIG3 just announced that the league's seventh season, which has been an all-male circuit to far, will premiere on CBS and Paramount+ on June 15.

Clark, the all-time top scorer in NCAA Division I history (men and women), is expected to be the Indiana Fever's first overall pick in next month's 2024 WNBA draft.

Clark and the top-seeded Hawkeyes (31-4) will face No. 5 Colorado in a Sweet 16 game in Albany, New York, on Saturday.
